Chantelle's are Geordie girls with a bit of cash. They can afford a few 'luxuries' in life. The will often opt for middle of the market brands with items falling between £100 and £500.
Branding is very important here. For example the 'I Heart P.B' logo of Paul's Boutique. These slightly more upper classed Geordie lasses like to ensure they have the real McCoy.
Juicy Couture
'Nash-Taylor and Skaist-Levy built a hugely successful company based on a single brainstorm: the ubiquitous velvour hoody and sweatpants set that became an actress go-to, housewife staple and teenage must have'.
Originally named Travis Jeans and producing maternity trousers, the name Juicy Couture soon took over with an aim to create girly apparel equal to other major labels but at an affordable price.
Recently however, Juicy have faced popularity problems. Perhaps '...Orange County moms have started thinking about what they could do with $200 dollars besides spend it on sweats'. This has resulted in a re-brand of the company trying to attract perhaps a more fashion conscious audience as well as they're loyal sweat fans.
Paul's Boutique
Most famous now for they're statement handbags, Paul's boutique is another 'middle market' brand our Chantelle's are likely to invest in.
Originating from a stall in Portobello Market selling heavily customised vintage clothing, Paul's Boutique has evolved into a huge high street success after collaborating with Topshop 12 years ago.
With inspirations stemming from Japanese fashion magazines, street fashion and historical fashion books, some might see it a shame that this brand has become SO mainstream. But out Geordie girls can't get enough. Especially as the Chantelle's of Tyne can now get their hands on a Primark replica at a fraction of the price.
Miss Francesca Couture
A final brand which the Chantelle's of this world lust after is Miss Francesca Couture. The brand clearly and cleverly boosts sales by promoting the fact that 'celebrities' are in fact out there wearing their dresses.
This 'Small Sequin Tutu Party Dress' (£265) flew off the rails after not only our very own Geordie Shore star Holly was seen sporting it, but it appeared in the opening titles of 2011's 'Desperate Scousewives'.
Glamour, celeb worshiping Chantelles just had to have it for themselves.
